Lithuania will provide EUR 24 mln in yet another round of aid, according to its Ministry of Defense, with Interfax Ukraine adding that it plans to create a “coalition to clear mines” in Ukraine. Meanwhile a Reuters scoop indicated that the US will soon announce a USD 1.3 bln aid package for Ukraine (in the coming days).

Although hundreds of Western companies are still active in Russia, those days may be coming to and end, as both the Carlsberg and Danone companies announced that primary assets had been “seized” by Russia by July 18, although Russian President Vladmir Putin announced that the government had taken control of both companies’ operations on Sunday July 16 in a move that, along with the cancellation of the Black Sea Grain deal, may signal a new level of economic war on the West [...]
